General Information:

State Route 71 is located north of Brisbane and is a connector between suburbs along the northern shores of Moreton Bay and the suburbs dotted along the Pine River and North Pine River system. The majority of the route is dual carriageway.

The section of State Route 71 between Petrie and Kallangur was once an alignment of National Route 1.

State Route 26, for 4 km, between Rothwell and Kippa-Ring.

Northern Moreton Bay Tourist Drive, for 3 km, between Rothwell and Kippa-Ring.

13 July 1995: Kallangur upgrade opened by then Minister for Transport Ken Hayward. ²
